The Data Center is newly opened in February of 2016. It offers high-density colocation services enabling the hosting of heavy load IT infrastructure and meeting a wide range of customer needs, from private cloud to business, Internet content and public cloud infrastructure.
Otemachi
Telehouse Tokyo Otemachi currently collocates the largest IX in Japan (JPIX) as well as 30 major telecom carriers and ISPs (primarily Japanese) are located in Telehouse TOKYO Otemachi. We are currently building a community to better connect providers in the Data Centers.

All Telehouse Japan/Tokyo Data Centers are built with earthquake-resistant construction techniques which can withstand an earthquake with a seismic intensity of 6-upper on the Japan Meteorological Agency seismic intensity scale. Besides this, Telehouse’s Tokyo Data Centers are constructed with extensive fire prevention measures by adopting the VESDA fire detection systems, in addition to fire alarm systems and fire spread prevention systems.

Telehouse’ Tokyo Data Centers, as well as its other facilities in Japan, have direct connection to a large capacity, high-speed Internet backbone that is the largest of its type in the country. Its parent company KDDI provides high-speed connections to the Japan Internet Exchange (JPIX) as well as major internet exchanges in the U.S. and Europe. KDDI Corporation is one of the shareholders of JPIX, which has become one of the largest internet exchanges in Japan and is based in the KDDI Otemachi Building in Tokyo.
KDDI Cloud Server Service
The KDDI Cloud Server Service is available in Telehouse’s Tokyo Data Centers and provides a packaged IT solution including hardware and applications at a monthly charge, which is indispensable for the construction of customers’ ICT environment.

KDDI provides advanced management, monitoring and maintenance services to all Telehouse Tokyo Data Centers, promoting the reduction of work load in the operation activities of customers. These can include end-to-end solutions which satisfy a variety of needs, such as security, EC site, call center construction and outsourcing management.
